Extension rods
Extension rods are used to add length to a fixture often to prevent the specimen making contact with the gauge/loadcell e.g., when compressing a plunger into a cylinder.
They are also used to connect a force gauge or loadcell to a grip of fixture e.g a wedge grip or test hook.
